Accommodating a family, a dog and 2000 books in one apartment and creating an interior without smug, where one could rest after a working day or receive guests.
160 sq. m
The clients liked Scandinavian interior designs for their simplicity, absence of smug, unpretentiousness and preparedness for real life, not just the picture. But today is a different time, and we did not want just to borrow ideas from Scandinavian interior design. Therefore, we looked for a balance between the asceticism and pragmatism of modern interior designs and the simple spirituality of Scandinavian ones. We have worked out several interior design options, and can share the final version once the project is implemented. An interesting detail is the client’s passion for reading and his own library containing 2000 books, and also, absence of the fear of open shelves. It allowed us to create interesting solutions with book shelves. In the end, we were able to design a layout that could accommodate a growing library and contain 3000 books.
